We have added a new review, to the episodes section, under the Second Doctor; 1968’s – The Invasion.
The Invasion was the fourth – and final appearance of the highly popular monster; the Cybermen – in the Troughton era. They would not feature again, until the Tom Baker era; 8 years later.
The Invasion also featured the return of Alistair Lethbridge-Stewart; now Brigadier. Lethbridge-Stewart was now in charge, of newly formed United Nation Intelligence Taskforce (or UNIT for short). Professor Travers, (also from “The Web Of Fear”) was supposed to return but actor Jack Watling was unavailable.
