Renowned character-actor; Jean Marsh has died, aged 90.
Marsh memorably appeared in ODWho – in 1966, in The Daleks Masterplan – as Space Agent: Sara Kingdom a shortlived companion of the First Doctor.
Marsh was considered an ongoing companion replacement for the First Doctor but was killed off, due to being unable to commit to the filming schedule longterm.
Marsh’s first appearance was in the First Doctor episode; The Crusade – as ‘Joan Of England’ and final appearance was ‘Morgaine’ – in Seventh Doctor episode; Battlefield.
